1. The Vision

We are seeking a visionary educator to lead the launch of a modern Madrassah, Primary, and Secondary school. Grounded in Transformative Education (Tarbiyah), our institution rejects the dual-education divide and aims to nurture students with deep Islamic identity alongside critical thinking skills for global success.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Synthesis: Oversee integration of the NERDC national curriculum with Islamic values, ensuring subjects like Science and Social Studies are taught through critical inquiry (Tafakkur).
• Teacher Mentorship: Coach teachers to shift from lecturing toward facilitating dialogue and active learning.
• Community Engagement: Serve as a bridge between the school and the Ibadan community, explaining our modern approach to parents familiar with traditional rote-learning models.
• Operational Management: Ensure efficient use of the 6-classroom facility and startup budget to deliver high-quality learning outcomes.

3. Required Competencies

• Educational Background: Minimum of B.Ed or B.A/B.Sc with PGDE; TRCN registration is mandatory.
• Philosophical Alignment: Strong understanding of, or deep willingness to learn, our Islamic Education philosophy.
• Hybrid Knowledge: Proficiency in English with functional understanding of Arabic and Islamic Sciences.
• Tech-Savviness: Ability to integrate digital tools effectively in a lean-budget environment.
